Crate Clicker Devlog #2


We are back again with an update for Crate Clicker! Its been a long day.. In this update comes some much needed graphical overhauls/replacement of stock buttons etc. I'm exhausted lol but I'm happy with where I'm at for today. 

In this update you'll find:

- New button and upgrade art.

- Whole new menu for upgrades.

- QoL changes to better understand what you can and cannot buy with the new menu/upgrade buttons.

- Behind the scenes fixes.


This took me awhile... I'm no artist and about halfway through I ran into an issue where I realised I up-scaled the main crate by 6x from its original size so all other art assets would need to be scaled as well to avoid those disgusting MIXELS and with some time and help I figured out an up-scaling method that doesn't result in blurry images and now that is being used for all assets In the game. 

Also if you played this game or checked out the page Thankyou! this is my most played game on Itch ATM and although its basically just a prototype it still makes me happy and I love hearing from everyone in the comments so please do give feedback on your thoughts :) and as for me I think I need a rest. Enjoy the updates!
