Timmy The Turtle
Timmy the turtle is a short game where you play as Timmy the sea turtle and make the journey to the surface to lay your eggs while avoiding dangers from the deep.
PLEASE NOTE: The game crashing bug should be fixed!
I made this game in just under 2 weeks for the MVM game jam after my team ghosted me and abandoned our project. Everything besides the music is done by me. I have never done pixel art or animation and this is my first go at it hope u enjoy!
Main game music composer: https://itch.io/profile/jonas-mor
Main menu music done by: https://quencheddisorder.itch.io/
Keybinds: Keyboard and Controller Support! (Should work on all major controllers)
WASD/Left joystick to swim.
E or 'square' on Sony controller for interaction.
Pause - TAB/options on Sony controller. (Pause is TAB due to the browsers default escape key being ESC causing you to need to press it twice which is annoying.
Jump - Space/'X' on Sony Controller.
Notes/"bugs":
Linux and Android Mobile builds are tested, Windows build is not good luck have fun lol. for Android you may need to create a shortcut to the apk and then run that to start the install you will also need to use a controller.
Pause menu is affected by the dark light in the beginning (Sorry).
also in building for controller support some weird hover affects may occur.
Sharks are not animated due to limited time.
Timmy's anims are semi jank.
On retry you may be unable to activate the final angler box.
Game may crash unexpectedly. (should be fixed now)

Very awesome! Did you do all the art yourself? What Language you code this in?
Im working on an Questing Skilling PVE Platformer as well on my free time. I usually post my most recent updated game every Sunday if no bugs in code from coding during the week
